Adyghe State University will host the International academic conference “Graphs, Games and Models”. It will take place from October 12 to October 15 in Maykop (Adygea).
This event is an official satellite conference of the International Congress of Mathematicians (ICM), one of the oldest academic congresses on pure and applied mathematics in the world.
The first ever congress took place in 1897 in Zürich (Switzerland). The ICM has always aimed to represent all aspects of modern mathematics including all disciplines and schools from different geographical areas, and to define future courses of development of mathematics.
The speakers of the ICM are expert mathematicians who are best fit to present modern research trends to the general public.
More information on the ICM is available on the official website icm2022.org
In order to stay on par with the ICM, our Conference will bring together well-known Russian and international experts on game theory and its applications, graph theory, complex networks, graph-theoretical modeling, and game-theoretical modeling.
The conference will not only include presentations by the speakers, but also lectures for graduate and undergraduate students on contemporary trends in discrete mathematics.
Adygea has always dedicated many resources to popularization of mathematics and math education as well as improvement of professional skills of math teachers. And the unique nature of the Western Caucasus with its fresh air, rivers and waterfalls, and mountains is a great motivator for new mathematical discoveries.
The cultural programme will offer the participants a chance to admire the natural attractions of Adygea, learn about customs and traditions of the region, and visit the unique Mathematical Park math-park.ru that has gathered art objects illustrating math facts and problems outdoors.
Moreover, the Nalmes State Dance Company of Adygea will show the guests the magic of Adygean dance. Experience the most scenic and appealing version of mathematics here at the International academic conference “Graphs, Games and Models” in July in Adygea!
